GAP CAMP LICHTENBERG / Alexander Callsen

The GAP CAMP LICHTENBERG is a plug in construction which is colonising an undefined void in the shared common space and can be used for accommodation. The work reacts to a development in the neighborhood, consisting of a townhouse housing estate. It is an attempt at self-organisation under the conditions of urban condensation and structural change.

After a first installation in March 2013 it was reassembled in September to accommodate guests. In Spring 2014 it will be installed finally to remain on site, open for use by everybody…
