Plastercast models
Plaster cast was used to make these three pieces due the defining characteristics of the material. The heaviness and solidity of the material contrasts well in comparison to the very detailed impressions that can be left on the plaster from the polystyrene foam cast.
The scale used was to show, in the most simplified way possible, three different architectural ideas. Light, levels, solidity, opes were all explored. Each model is 15cm x 15cm x 15cm thereby allowing for a clear comparison to be made of each model.
